How could I resist venturing out to capture this breathtaking image? The conditions were simply perfect - not a single cloud or trace of fog in the sky, accompanied by a gentle breeze, paving the way for the arrival of the spectacular Super Full Moon. The only minor drawback was the absence of natural light to illuminate the surrounding landscape. However, a stroke of luck came in the form of the Air Force Base lights, leading towards the radar "ball," casting intriguing reflections across the tranquil waters of Pillar Point Harbor. The convergence of multiple leading lines, drawing the eye towards both the mesmerizing radar and the radiant moon, added an extra layer of visual allure.
Was it worth sacrificing my precious day off and waking up at the crack of dawn, a daunting 4 am? Absolutely! And to my delight, the updated Enhance feature in LightRoom worked wonders in bringing out the best in these extraordinary captures.
